Is it -ber yet?

September, September, September. I am welcoming you with open arms but the cold weather that accompanies you is nowhere to be found. I feel like it's summer all over again. The hot weather made me want to have as many cold beverages as possible. But not all cold snacks and beverages are passable to moms like me. I have to make sure that what I am feeding my family are also good for our nutrition. Other moms would agree that not all good food are acceptable to young ones. Presentation and taste are some of the factors that encourage our kids to try eating the foods that we serve. I am lucky that my little girl loves fruit and that's where I usually start whenever I feed my growing baby.

While searching online for nutritional recipes, I found this wonderful recipe that's cold and nutritious at the same time. It's called Tropical Berry Popsicle and consists of berries, coconut milk and herbal tea. Kind of a weird combination but I saw another mommy blogger who added herbal tea to her kids'  popsicle whenever they have colds. I'm really excited to try this one since I recently saw packs of frozen raspberries in one of my recent trips to the grocery store. If it's not available, I'm pretty sure I can easily substitute it with other fruits. Just imagine all the possibilities you can make with just a simple yet nutritional snack.
